Longest Serving TV actor in a single role
After playing Ken Barlow on Corne Sane Street from 1960 until 2022, William Roche holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-acting actor in a television soap opera. So far more than 10000 episodes have been broadcast. The record was accepted on behalf of the cast by Sally Dynevor (inset on the “Street”), who plays Sally Webster.
City with the worst air pollution
According to the IQAir 2020 World Air Quality Report, Hotan in Xinjiang, China, suffers the highest levels of particulate matter. The average level of PM2.5 pollution was 110.2 μg/m3 in 2020, more than 10 times what is considered healthy, and double the level considered harmful. Hotan has the record in this year’s rankings because the previous holder, Ghaziabad in India, has significantly improved.
Most powerful solar facility
The total power generation capacity of the Indian state of Rajasthan Bhadla Solar Park is 2245 MW. It covers an area of 57 km, which is almost as large as the country of San Marino. It started from the year 2015 and its work was completed in 2020. The park had witnessed the lowest bid for solar power in India as of December 2020 at ₹2.44 (3.2¢ US) per kilowatt-hour.
Most species in a zoo
As of 1 Nov 2020, Moskovsky Zoopark in Russia’s capital city played host to 1,226 different species of animal, ranging from large mammals, such as giant pandas, to tiny insects. As well as bespoke enclosures, the 21.4-ha (53-acre) site – established in 1864 – includes paddocks, an aquarium and an aviary.
Largest fleet of electric taxis
As of January 2021, there were about 21,500 e6-model electric taxis in the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, built by Chinese manufacturer BYD. Each cab is capable of traveling 300 km (186 mi) on a single charge and is expected to reduce carbon emissions by less than c. 771,000 tonnes (850,000 tonnes) per year. The small city of Taiyuan in northern China has a fully electric taxi fleet since 2016.
First commercial spacecraft to carry humans
The world’s first human-carrying commercial spacecraft was flown from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida US on 30 May 2020 on SpaceX Crew Demo Two mission. In this the cost of the bench per person was $ 55 million . It can seat seven persons. Private spacecraft carried NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken on a 19-hour journey back to the ISS on 2 August 2020. The seven-person Crew Dragon capsule is based on a design that flew 19 missions to the ISS transporting cargo.
